The place
Hasbrouck House is a Dutch Colonial stone mansion from 1757 in Stone Ridge, restored as a boutique hotel with its own restaurant, Butterfield. The grounds have big lawns, gardens, old oaks and sycamores, a porch and a bluestone patio, with ceremonies and tented receptions out on the lawn for up to about 150 guests and rooms for family on site.
Filming here
Stone walls and small, old rooms mean low light inside, which suits a warm, filmic look for getting ready. Outside, the lawns and the trees give shade and room to move. Tented receptions get a direct feed from the band or DJ so every toast is clear.
What to expect
Hasbrouck is a place where everyone stays close for the weekend. I keep the setup small and quiet so the film feels like the day, not a production.

Which package fits a Hasbrouck House wedding?
The Feature covers the full day. If you're hosting a welcome dinner at Butterfield the night before, add welcome-party coverage or look at The Cinema.
How do you handle the audio?
Every voice that matters gets its own microphone: a lav on whoever is saying vows, a recorder on the officiant, a feed from the DJ or band for the toasts. It's the reason the films sound the way they do.
Can we have the raw footage?
Yes, as an add-on, delivered on a drive after the edit is finished.
How do we hold a date?
A signed agreement and a retainer hold your date. Dates are first come, first served.
Do you work with our planner and photographer?
Always. I share the timeline ahead of the day and stay out of the photographer's frame.
Is travel included?
Yes. Hasbrouck House is about 20 minutes from Kingston.
What about the low light indoors?
The cameras I use handle low light well, and I'd rather keep the warm, natural feel of those old rooms than flood them with lights.
